Man is a machine with perspectives. it is the multitudinous facet of human thinking that adds color to life. A point of view precedes emotions. And emotions propel an act. what separates sage from sin is a perspective.
perspective is courage. and without courage there is no individuality. if one cannot distinguish oneself from the rest, then for one life has not yet begun. agreed, the purpose of life lies not in being different. however, failing to understand the uniqueness in oneself is empty headedness. worse, it is a sin not to act upon it once the difference is realized. so if one does not have a perspective, one is void and lifeless.
but a child does not have a perspective, neither do we expect him to have one. perspective is the child of knowledge. and knowledge arises from observation and experience. we have the tools to acquire knowledge and it would be a great injustice to living if the tools are not oiled and used. our senses need continuous work out and thats the way we grow.
